Lunch will be ordered from a pre-set menu and attendees will pay their own bill. The program will be Dr. Maria Javaid, board-certified cardiologist at Providence Medical Center. Members and guests are encouraged to wear red to support heart health.

About our Speaker:
Maria Javaid, M.D., F.A.C.C., is a board-certified cardiologist who joined Providence in 2009. She performs cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty, stenting and also treats peripheral vascular disease. Her educational background includes a fellowship in interventional cardiology with St. John’s Providence Hospital, Southfield, Mich., where she received clinical training in cardiac, carotid and peripheral treatments. She performed a fellowship in cardiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, N.Y., where she also completed her residency. She practices with Midland Heart and Vascular, a physician practice of  Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., and Saint John Hospital, Leavenworth. She has an office on the Providence Campus in the Doctors Building, Ste. 331.
